Meet Dr. Arlene M. Garcia, MD at Digestive Disease Care Serving New York Community

Dr. Arlene M. Garcia earned her Medical Doctor degree from Mount Sinai School of Medicine in New York and received her Bachelor of Science in Biology from Syracuse University in Syracuse, NY. Dr. Garcia, completed a Gastroenterology Fellowship at Maimonides Hospital Center in Brooklyn, NY. She served as Chief Medical Resident at Mount Sinai School of Medicine at Elmhurst Hospital Center in Elmhurst, NY. She also completed her Internal Medicine Residency through Mount Sinai School of Medicine in affiliation with The Mount Sinai Hospital Center, Elmhurst Hospital Center, and The Bronx Veterans Administration Medical Center.

Dr. Arlene M. Garcia, MD, is board-certified in Gastroenterology and holds a Physician license in the State of New York. These credentials reflect her specialized training in digestive health and her authorization to provide medical care as a licensed physician.

Dr. Arlene M. Garcia, MD, has held several academic and clinical teaching roles throughout her medical career. She serves as Clinical Assistant Attending in the Department of Medicine at Mount Sinai-Beth Israel Medical Center in New York. She also served as Assistant Attending in the Department of Medicine, Section of Gastroenterology at Saint Vincent’s Hospital and Medical Center in New York. Her academic background includes serving as an Instructor of Medicine at Mount Sinai School of Medicine, Assistant Attending in the Department of Internal Medicine at Elmhurst Hospital Center, a Clinical Assistant in the Department of Emergency Medicine at Elmhurst Hospital Center, and Executive Chief Medical Resident at Mount Sinai School of Medicine at Mount Sinai Services at Elmhurst Hospital Center.
