Meet Dr. Nathan Schulman, MD at Digestive Disease Care Serving New York Community

He earned his bachelor’s degree in psychology at the State University of New York at Buffalo and a medical degree from the University of Kentucky College of Medicine in Louisville. 

To further his medical training, Dr. Schulman completed an internship, residency, research gastroenterology fellowship, and clinical gastroenterology fellowship at Long Island Jewish Medical Center in Queens, New York City, where he served as chief resident. 

He holds a board certification in internal medicine and a medical license in the state of New York. Dr. Schulman maintains his advanced credentials with continuing education. He is a member of the American Gastroenterological Association and the American Medical Association. 

He has 30 years of medical experience working in gastroenterology and has published multiple research studies in prestigious medical journals.

When not in the office, he enjoys spending time with family and friends. Dr. Schulman loves improving the gastrointestinal health and wellness of new and existing patients and welcomes them to Digestive Disease Care.
