Samantha Cruz earned her Master of Science in Physician Assistant Studies from the University of Mount Saint Vincent in Riverdale, NY. She also holds a Bachelor of Science in Integrative Neuroscience from Binghamton University, graduating with Cum Laude honors.
She has completed diverse clinical rotations including Plastic Surgery (OR and outpatient), General Surgery (Vascular, Urology, Interventional Radiology, MIS), Internal Medicine (inpatient, Stroke Unit, Neurology), Emergency Medicine, Pediatrics (inpatient, outpatient, ED, NICU, Rheumatology), Obstetrics and Gynecology (L&D and outpatient), Family Medicine, and Psychiatry.
Samantha has experience as an Internal Medicine Physician Assistant, providing comprehensive care to adult patients, managing acute and chronic conditions, performing procedures like blood draws and NG tubes, and collaborating with consult teams. She also worked as a Medical Scribe at City MD Urgent Care, documenting patient histories, assisting with suturing and splinting, and performing preliminary tests.
She served as Cultural Chair and Publicity Chair for the Philippine American League at Binghamton University, organizing events and fundraisers, and as Delta Company First Sergeant in JROTC, overseeing the health and welfare of 120 cadets and assisting in administrative duties.
